Feile na Nollaig
Our dance school, Comerford Irish Dance, had our feis the weekend of December 12th. It was a lot of fun and a lot of work. Decorating the ballrooms and building the dance floors starts Friday afternoon and we don't stop until we do the reverse late Sunday afternoon.

Oireachtas 2008
We spent the weekend at the Arizona Grand in Phoenix for the Western Region US Oireachtas.
Kendra was on a 8 hand ceili team.
Ready for her costume.
The girls practicing before their dance.
Waiting their turn with the older girls/teachers.
They may not have placed first but they were the best in our hearts.
Award night. Half of the team.
On the way home we trusted the Garmin and headed for "The Outer Limits" restaurant in Gila Bend, Arizona. It was a classic 1960's space-age restaurant. It reminded me of the old "Tomorrowland" at Disneyland. Good food too.

Idleness and Sloth
Proverbs 10:4 He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.
Cleanliness is next to Godliness-thought to be an anchient Hebrew proverb.
In his 'Advancement of Learning' (1605) Francis Bacon wrote: 'Cleanness of body was ever deemed to proceed from a due reverence to God.'

Kitty Porn
Sorry-it's the best I could do this morning. Kieran spent yesterday afternoon and night throwing up again.
Luckily, this all made it into appropriate receptacles. Unlike the middle of Sunday night when I spent over an hour on clean up after that spectacular event. Remember the scene in "The Shining" when the blood came pouring out of the elevator like a flash flood, swooshing under the furniture and up the walls. Now imagine that with partially digested pasta. Yeah-life's good. Oh did I mention Paul was out of town for that?
